82 PhoneNoteIf another phone is automaticallyconnected during a new pairingprocedure, it will automatically bedisconnected, to allow the newpairing procedure to continue.Pairing enables the handsfree phonesystem to recognise and store amobile phone in the device list. Amaximum of 5 mobile phones can bepaired and stored in the device list,but only one can be connected at atime.When pairing is completed, amessage with the name of the pairedphone is shown on the Infotainmentsystem display screen and the phoneis automatically connected to thehandsfree phone system. The mobilephone can then be operated via theInfotainment system controls.NoteWhen a Bluetooth connection isactive, using the handsfree phonesystem will discharge the mobilephone battery more rapidly.R15 BT / CD15 BT - Pairing a mobilephoneTo pair a phone to the handsfreephone system, press the TEL buttonand select Pair device by turning andpressing the OK rotary knob. TheReady to Pair screen is displayed.On the mobile phone, search forBluetooth equipment in the vicinity ofthe device.Select My Radio (i.e. the name of thehandsfree phone system) from the liston the mobile phone, then, on themobile phone keypad, enter thepairing code shown on theInfotainment system display screen.If pairing fails, the system returns tothe previous menu and acorresponding message is displayed.Repeat procedure if necessary.CD30 BT - Pairing a mobile phoneTo pair a phone to the handsfreephone system, press the 0 buttonand select Bluetooth connection fromthe settings menu.
