Itmust only be assembled in housings, cabinets or in electrical operationrooms. Access is only permitted via a key or tool to authorized qualifiedpersonnel.DangerAll power sources to the device must always be switched off before carryingout any installation, repair or maintenance work.WarningReplace defective or damaged device/module (e.g. in the event of deformedcontacts), as the functionality of fieldbus station in question can no longer beensured on a long-term basis.WarningThe components are not resistant against materials having seeping andinsulating properties. Belonging to this group of materials is: e.g. aerosols,silicones, triglycerides (found in some hand creams). If it cannot be ruled outthat these materials appear in the component environment, then thecomponents must be installed in an enclosure that is resistant against theabove mentioned materials. Clean tools and materials are generally requiredto operate the device/module.WarningSoiled contacts must be cleaned using oil-free compressed air or with ethylalcohol and leather cloths.WarningDo not use contact sprays, which could possibly impair the functioning of thecontact area.WarningAvoid reverse polarity of data and power lines, as this may damage thedevices.ESD (Electrostatic Discharge)The devices are equipped with electronic components that may be destroyedby electrostatic discharge when touched.
