(76.2 mm)is available on the steering levers - the levers can beadjusted forward or aft depending on the arm lengthof the operator. The levers can be adjusted by loos-ening the locknut at the pivot point and the locknutholding the lever in position in the adjustment slide.Adjust levers into the most comfortable position andtighten both locknuts.AdjustmentSlideLocknut(Position)Locknut(Pivot Point)Steering Lever AdjustmentTilt-Up Deck Adjustable StopWhen the carrier frame hinge joint is properly ad-justed, the deck lock levers should move in and outof the engaged and disengaged positions freely. Allfour hitch pins used for height adjustment should sitflush on the washers above the deck pin bushing.On a level surface, if any pin is sticking up (likely thefront pins), tighten the opposite side or loosen thesame side to lower the pin. Adjustments are madeby loosening the jam nut and tightening or looseningthe set screws on the Deck Mount Pivot Brackets.Retighten the jam nut when the adjustment is com-plete.Jam NutSet ScrewTilt-Up Deck Adjustable StopGHS Signal Horn Adjustment(When Horn Sounds at Wrong Time)DANGERPINCH POINT - SPRING LOADED DOORWhen lowering the door on the GHScatcher, depress the safety latch on theside of the catcher. BE VERY CAREFULto keep hands, fingers, etc. out of thehinging mechanism and away from thedoor frame as the door closes. Thesprings that hold the door closed duringoperation are very powerful, and the doorcan slam shut with considerable force.The vertical position of the Grass-Pak® switch iscritical to make sure the catcher box does not over-fill causing the delivery chute to clog. The verticalposition can be adjusted by bending the mountingbracket for the Grass-Pak® switch.
