To do this, perform thefollowing:1. Set up the xrxusr password as root user in a terminal type:passwd xrxusr as root user. The user will beprompted for the new password.2. Edit the DocuSP startup file as root user in a terminal windowtype: cd /opt/XRXnps/XRXinit/bin . Make backup oforiginal startup file by typing: cp XRXnps_StartXRXnps_Start.orig. Type:/usr/openwin/bin/texteditXRXnps_Start . In the Text Editor window, scrolldown to the bottom of the file and add a # sign in front of theline that reads: su - $user3. Reboot and configure xrxusr login environment. Reboot thesystem. The CDE login prompt window will appear. ChooseCDE as the desktop environment. This only needs to beconfigured at the first login. This will need to be re configuredwith every DocuSP upgrade. With every boot, the operatorwill need to log in as xrxusr. This has no other impact onsystem operation.
