DocuColor 240/250DocuColor 240/250 Training and Information Guide 12Sleep ModeIn this mode, the power is lowered more than in the Low Power mode.The touch screen goes out, and the Power Saver button on the control panellights.To use the machine, press the Power Saver button. The Power Saver buttongoes out to indicate that the Power Saver feature is canceled.In both Low Power Mode and Sleep Mode the touch screen is blank and thePower Save indicator light is on. The machine is re-activated if the touch screenor any button on the control panel is touched, the Document Handler is loaded, apaper tray opened, a job is submitted to the print queue (fax receive or networkprint), or a fax or print job arrives in the print queue. The machine respondswithin one second and all the features are available within 30 seconds from LowPower Mode or 120 seconds from Power Save Mode.NOTE: The machine will not exit Power Save Mode if a fax job arrives andthe fax enabled paper trays are empty. The job will be held inmemory until either the control panel is touched or paper is loaded.In addition to the power save modes your system administrator can enable AutoOff. This feature automatically switches your machine off, instead of enteringPower Save Mode. As delivered, this feature is disabled. If enabled the machineautomatically switches into Auto Off, 60 minutes after the machine has enteredthe Low Power mode. The factory default setting of 60 minutes is customerchangeable within the range of 0 to 120 minutes. The Auto Off feature is NOTavailable for networked machines.
