SPECIFICATIONS 6.36Paper SpecificationsOverviewYour printer accepts a variety of print materials, such as cut-sheetpaper (including up to 100% recycled fiber content paper),envelopes, labels, transparencies and custom-size paper.Properties, such as weight, composition, grain and moisturecontent, are important factors affecting the printer’s performanceand the output quality. Paper that does not meet the guidelinesoutlined in this User’s Guide can cause the following problems:• Poor print quality• Increased paper jams• Premature wear on the printer.Notes:• Some paper may meet all of the guidelines in this guide and still notproduce satisfactory results. This may be the result of improperhandling, unacceptable temperature and humidity levels, or othervariables over which Xerox has no control.• Before purchasing large quantities of paper, ensure the paper meetsthe requirements specified in this User’s Guide.Caution: Using paper that does not meet these specifications maycause problems, requiring repairs. These repairs are not covered bythe Xerox warranty or service agreements.
