NOTICEDo not use unshielded cable for control wiring.Failure to comply may cause electrical interference resulting in poor system performance.Use shielded twisted-pair wires and ground the shield to the ground terminal of the bypass.Properly connect all pins and connectors.Failure to comply may prevent proper operation and possibly damage equipment.Check wiring to ensure that all connections are correct after installing the option and connecting any other devices.Failure to comply could result in damage to the option.u Prior to Installing the OptionNOTICE: Install communications options on the bypass control PCB. Do not install communications options on the Z1000 drive PCB.Improperly connected communications options will cause erroneous operation.n Verify Bypass OperationVerify that the bypass functions normally without the option installed. Refer to the Z1000 Bypass Technical Manual(SIEPYAIZ1B01) for information on wiring and connecting the bypass unit.n Prepare Network CablesDetermine the length of cable required to connect from the option to a network device and attach all connectors to networkcables before installing the option. Refer to Table 3 Communication Cable Specifications for details.The communication connection point on the option is designated CN1.
