7 Common TasksThis section describes common tasks when using an SI-EN3 or SI-EN3D option kit on a Z1000 bypass.u Accessing Drive and Bypass Monitors and ParametersDrive and Bypass monitors and parameters can be accessed using one of two methods.• Explicit commands through Drive Parameter Object 100 and Monitor Control Object 125. The register addresses can befound in the Z1000 Bypass Technical Manual, SIEPYAIZ1B01. Details of how to access these through EtherNet/IP can befound in Section 12 Vendor-Specific (Yaskawa) Class Objects on page 57.• The register addresses can be programmed into the dynamic input or output parameters to place them into the IO of the PLC.Assembly pairs that contain dynamic IO include: 116-166, 117-167, 118-168, 119-169, and 120-170.Use parameters Z4-23 through Z4-42 to program the addresses.Register addresses can be found in the Z1000 Bypass Technical Manual SIEPYAIZ1B01, MEMOBUS/Modbus Data Tablesection.u Monitor StatusesTable 6 Monitor Various StatusesStatus Decription DriveMode BypassModeRunRead this status using the predefined bits in various assemblies or explicitly through driveregister 0x4B. x -Read this status using address 8785H (bit 1). Read the status explicitly or enter 8785 into oneof the dynamic input parameters. - xFaultRead this status using address 8785H (bit 2). Read the status explicitly or enter 8785 into oneof the dynamic input parameters.Table 7 shows what is returned based on bypass software version. x xRead this status with pre-defined IO assembly bits. x x <1>Output Frequency Read scaling determined by o1-03 in the IO assemblies. x -Read scaling in the IO assemblies. - xOutput CurrentRead this status in assemblies 151, 155, and 166. Read the status explicitly using address 0026H(scaling = 0.1 A). x x <1>Read this status using register 8780H (scaling = 0.1A). Enter 8780 into a dynamic inputparameter. - x <2>Other Drive-specificStatusesRead drive-specific statuses and monitors (U1-01 to U6-40) by placing them into acycliccommands or through dynamic input and output parameters.Refer to Z1000 Bypass Technical Manual (SIEPYAIZ1B01 ) for a list of monitors and theirregister addresses. Drive-specific addresses are valid only when the drive is energized. Thedrive may not be energized when in Bypass mode or when the service disconnect switch isOFF.x -Bypass-specific Statuses All other bypass-specific statuses and monitors can be read by placing them into the dynamicinput and output parameters. Refer to Z1000 Bypass Technical Manual (SIEPYAIZ1B01 ) fora list of monitors and their register addresses. - x<1> Available in bypass controller software versions VST800400 and later.<2> Available in bypass controller software versions VST800299 and earlier.Table 7 Fault Status BitSoftware Version Pre-defined IO Assembly Bits Bypass Address 8785 (bit 2)VST800299 and earlier Drive faults only Drive or bypass faultsVST800400 Drive or bypass faults Drive or bypass faults7 Common TasksYASKAWA SIEPYAICOM22 Rev: A0 Bypass Option Single and Dual-Port EtherNet/IP SI-EN3/SI-EN3D Technical Manual 25
