Press the BAND button to begin the direct frequencyentry process.2. Touch [ENT] on the LCD. The first digit of the fre-quency (the leftmost digit) will blink.3. Enter, in order, the digits of the operating frequency,touching the keys on the LCDThe decimal point after the “MHz” portion of thefrequency must be entered, but no decimal point isrequired after the “kHz” portion.3. Touch [ENT] on the LCD once more to completethe operating frequency entry. A short “beep” willconfirm that the entry was successful, and the newoperating frequency will appear on the display.A dvice :If you attempt to enter a frequency outside the oper-ating range of 30 kHz ~ 56 MHz, the microprocessorwill ignore the attempt, and you will be returned tothe previous operating frequency.
