So longas you do not over-write the contents of the current memory, Memory Tune operation will not alter the contents of thememory channel.1. Press the V/M button to recall any memory channel.2. Press the F(M-LIST) button, then touch [MCH] onthe LCD.3. Rotate the MULTI knob to select the memory chan-nel.4. Rotate the Main Tuning Dial knob; you will now ob-serve that the memory channel frequency is chang-ing.A dvice : During Memory Tune operation, you may changeoperating modes, and engage the offset Clarifier,if desired.5. Press the V/M button momentarily to return to theoriginally memorized frequency of the current mem-ory channel. One more press of the V/M button willreturn to VFO operation.note:Computer software programs utilizing the CAT systeminterface port may presume that the transceiver is oper-ating in the VFO mode, for certain features like “bandmapping” and/or frequency logging, because the “Mem-ory Tune” mode so closely resembles the VFO mode.Be sure that you have the FT-991 operating in a controlmode compatible with your software’s requirements.Use the VFO mode if you’re not sure.V/M ButtonMULTI KnobF(M-LIST) Button
