Remove the oil seals using a flat headscrew driver.Checking the water pump and shiftrod1. Check the water pump housing for defor-mation. Replace if necessary.2. Check the impeller and insert cartridgefor cracks or wear. Replace if necessary.3. Check the Woodruff key 1 and thegroove a on the drive shaft for wear.Replace if necessary.4.
