Starter relay• Disconnect the starter relay from the cou-pler.• Connect the pocket tester (Ω × 1) and bat-tery (12 V) to the starter relay terminals asshown.Battery positive terminal → red/white 1Battery negative terminal → blue/white 2Tester positive probe → red 3Tester negative probe → black 4• Does the starter relay have continuitybetween red and black?Replace the starterrelay.RBRL/ W R/ W7. Main switch• Check the main switch for continuity.Refer to “CHECKING THE SWITCHES”.• Is the main switch OK?Replace the mainswitch.8. Engine stop switch• Check the engine stop switch for continuity.Refer to “CHECKING THE SWITCHES”.• Is the engine stop switch OK?Replace the righthandlebar switch.9.
