Remove:• Grip “1”TIPBlow in compressed air between the handlebaror tube guide and the grip. Then remove the gripwhich has become loose.3. Remove:• Throttle cable housing “1”• Throttle grip “2”TIPWhile removing the throttle cable housing, pullback the rubber cover “3”.EAM30053CHECKING THE HANDLEBAR1. Check:• HandlebarBends/cracks/damage  Replace.WARNINGEWA13690Do not attempt to straighten a bent handle-bar as this may dangerously weaken it.EAM30054INSTALLING THE HANDLEBAR1. Install:• Lower handlebar holder “1”• Washer “2”• Lower handlebar holder nut “3”TIP• Install the lower handlebar holders with themside having the greater distance “a” from themounting bolt center facing forward.• Apply the lithium soap base grease on thethread of the lower handlebar holders.• Installing the lower handlebar holders in the re-verse direction allow the front-to-rear offsetamount of the handlebar position to bechanged.• Do not tighten the nuts yet.3.
