Administrator‘s Guide for Yealink VC110 Video Conferencing Endpoint112CODEC is an abbreviation of COmpress-DECompress, and is capable of coding ordecoding a digital data stream or signal by implementing an algorithm. The object ofthe algorithm is to represent the high-fidelity audio signal with a minimum number ofbits while retaining quality. This can effectively reduce the frame size and thebandwidth required for audio transmission.The audio codec that the endpoint uses to establish a call should be supported by theserver.
