Administrator‘s Guide for Yealink VC110 Video Conferencing Endpoint176Web server type determines the access protocol of the endpoint‘s web user interface.The endpoint supports both HTTP and HTTPS protocols for accessing the web userinterface. HTTP is an application protocol that runs on top of the TCP/IP suite of protocols.HTTPS is a web protocol that encrypts and decrypts user page requests as well as thepages returned by the web server. Both the HTTP and HTTPS port numbers areconfigurable.Web server type parameters on the endpoint are described below:Parameter Description Configuration MethodHTTPEnables or disables the user toaccess the web user interface ofthe endpoint using the HTTPprotocol.Default: EnabledNote: If you change thisparameter, the endpoint willreboot to make the change takeeffect.Remote ControlWeb User InterfaceHTTP PortSpecifies the HTTP port for theuser to access the web userinterface of the endpoint.Valid Values: 1-65535Default: 80Note: Ensure that the configuredport is not used.
