When you release the switch, the lifting column stops immedi-ately.The switching technology causes a dead time of approx. 2 seconds at theupper and lower end positions of the lifting column. After expiry of thistime, you can move in the opposite direction again by activating switch(2).Note:The lifting column moves the microscope in the OP position prior to theoperation.Do not constantly move the lifting column up and down, since a thermalcut-out then automatically switches off the drive motor. If this occurs, thelifting column can be moved again only when the motor has cooled down.Warning!– Do not activate the lifting column during surgery!– Do not use the lifting column for focusing.– When using the fundus-imaging system which is installed between thesurgical microscope and the patient, make sure that the patient is nei-ther put at risk nor injured:– by the motorized movement of the lifting column,– by the motorized focusing system,– by the movement of the suspension arm.
