As you get familiar with yourTreo, you’ll discover which method you prefer.Dialing using the onscreen Dial Pad1. Press Phone/Send .2. Tap the onscreen Dial Pad to enter the number.3. Press Phone/Send to dial.Dialing with the keyboard1. Press Phone/Send .2. Using the numbered keys on the keyboard, start entering a phone number. You donot need to press Option to access the numbers on the keyboard.3. Press Phone/Send to dial.Dialing by contact nameBefore you can dial a call by contact name, you must create some contacts (see“Adding a contact” on page 102), import them by synchronizing (see “Synchronizingcontacts and other information” on page 33), or import them from your SIM card (seetip on “Viewing your SIM Phonebook” on page 104).If you changed thewallpaper in the Main Viewof the Phone application(see “Selecting wallpaperfor the Phone application”on page 147), you can stillaccess the Dial Pad. Fromthe Main View of the Phoneapplication, press Phone/Send, and then select DialPad.You can paste numbersdirectly into the Dial PadView. Copy a number fromanother application, andthen switch to Dial PadView. Open the Edit menuand select Paste. PressPhone/Send to dial.
