After dialing the first number, use the 5-waynavigator to select Hold.2. Use the 5-way to select Add Call.3. Dial the second number using Favorites,Contacts, or Dial Pad (see “Dialing calls” onpage 41).When two calls are active, the Active Call View includes two status lines, eachrepresenting one of the calls. To switch between the two calls, select Swap.Answering a second call (call waiting)When you are on an active call, you can receive a second call. When the second callcomes in, the Call Waiting dialog box appears, giving you the following options forhandling the second call:• To place the current call on hold and answer the new call, use the 5-way navigatorto select Answer.• To send the new call to voicemail, use the 5-way to select Ignore.• To hang up the current call and answer the new call, press Power/End .You can use most of theother application on yourTreo while holding a phoneconversation, including textmessaging and organizerfeatures such as Calendarand Memos. To return to anactive call from anotherapplication, press Phone/Send. You cannot make adata connection or use theInternet while on an activecall. This means that youalso cannot send andreceive email or multimediamessages while on anactive call.
