103Appendix 9 – Supported video modesThe following video modes are supported and can be automatically configuredby the AdderView CATx units. If a recognised video mode cannot be found, theAdderView CATx will gradually change some of the key parameters to discoverwhether a video lock can be achieved. Support for VESA GTF (GeneralizedTiming Formula) is available and can be enabled via the Advanced UnitConfiguration screen.The half width video modes capture every other pixel. These are not generallyrecommended for normal use but may be used for emergency access to highresolution, high frequency system screens. Half width screens can be expandedto normal width using the scaling features of the viewer.vesa 720 x 400 @ 85Hzvesa 640 x 480 @ 60Hzvesa 640 x 480 @ 72Hzvesa 640 x 480 @ 75Hzvesa 640 x 480 @ 85Hzvesa 800 x 600 @ 56Hzvesa 800 x 600 @ 60Hzvesa 800 x 600 @ 72Hzvesa 800 x 600 @ 75Hzvesa 800 x 600 @ 85Hzvesa 1024 x 768 @ 60Hzvesa 1024 x 768 @ 70Hzvesa 1024 x 768 @ 75Hzvesa 1024 x 768 @ 85Hzvesa 1152 x 864 @ 75Hzvesa 1280 x 960 @ 60Hzvesa 1280 x 1024 @ 60Hzvesa 1280 x 1024 @ 75Hzvesa 1600 x 1200 @ 60Hzvesa 1600 x 1200 @ 65Hz half-widthvesa 1600 x 1200 @ 70Hz half-widthvesa 1600 x 1200 @ 75Hz half-widthvesa 1600 x 1200 @ 85Hz half-widthvesa 720 x 400 @ 70Hz*sun 1152 x 900 @ 66Hzsun 1152 x 900 @ 76Hzsun 1280 x 1024 @ 67Hzapple 640 x 480 @ 67Hzapple 832 x 624 @ 75Hzapple 1152 x 870 @ 75Hz1900 x 1200 @ 60Hz*** Not actually a VESA mode but a common DOS/BIOS mode** May also work on some systems when the operating temperature of the AdderViewCATx is controlled.
