F I X T U R E I N S TA L L AT I O NPOTENTIAL INTERNAL FIXTURE DAMAGE FROM EXTERNAL SOURCES OF LIGHT BEAMSExternal sources of light beams from direct sunlight, lighting moving head fixtures, and lasers, whichare focused directly towards the exterior housing and/or penetrate the front lens opening of ADJ lightingfixtures, can cause severe internal damage including burning to optics, dichroic color filters, glassand metal gobos, prisms, animation wheels, frost filters, iris, shutters, motors, belts, wiring, dischargelamps, and LEDs.This issue is not specific only to ADJ lighting fixtures, it is a common issue with lighting fixtures from allmanufacturers. Although there is no true way to fully prevent this issue from happening, the guidelinesbelow can prevent any potential damage from occurring if followed.
