Due to the low volume of the calibrator (1 mL),a 1 mL Class A volumetric pipette should be used.• Do not shake the calibrator. Shaking can cause calibrationinconsistencies due to bubbles in the vial.• The calibrator is traceable to the National ReferenceSystem for Cholesterol, NRS/CHOL.• The calibrator is supplied with the reagent, and cannot beordered separately.
