Network9. AXIS Body Worn ManagerThe Axis body worn solution is one or more Axis body worn systems connected to a contentdestination. The body worn system functions only when it’s connected to a contentdestination.The Axis body worn system consists of Axis body worn cameras, Axis docking stations, Axissystem controllers, and AXIS Body Worn Manager.AXIS Body Worn Manager is the web application where you can configure and manage yourbody worn system.AXIS Body Worn Assistant is an application for mobile devices that connects directly to thebody worn camera and, for instance, lets you view recorded video.An optional RFID reader can be connected to the system controller. It lets the camera userself-assign any available body worn camera, using their self-assign tag.When you place the camera in the docking station, the docking station charges the camera’sbattery, and the camera connects to the system. The system controller then seamlesslytransfers all data from the camera to the content destination of your choice. The systemcontroller also keeps the cameras up-to-date with the latest firmware and settings, andmonitors the health of the Axis body worn solution.The system is supported by different types of content destinations such as evidencemanagement systems (EMS), video management systems (VMS), and media servers. You canuse the Body Worn Integration API to integrate with any third party VMS or EMS.
