Quilt Menu 7.1The features available within the Quilt menu are allrelated to the actual quilting of designs. While any ofthe sub-menus within the Quilt menu are selected, aRun button is available to start the stitching process.StitchThe Stitch sub-menu gives quick access to the mostcommonly used settings in case they need to beadjusted before stitching a design (Figure 7.1). TieOff and Pullup settings are available here and areexplained in detail in the Settings section of thismanual. There is also a Stitch button along thebottom of the screen. The Stitch button should beselected in most circumstances. However, if a quilterwants the Pro-Stitcher to run through the designwithout actually stitching, press the Stitch button todisable it. If the Stitch option is turned off, the TieOff and Pullup options will also be turned off. Ifeither the Tie Off or Pullup options are selected, theStitch button will also be automatically selected.StatusIf a quilter wants to know how far into a designthe machine has stitched, select Status and thenpress the Run button at the bottom of the screen.This displays the current design line segment beingstitched as well as the distance traveled (in inches)(Figure 7.2). The distance information may beuseful in determining how much thread the designhas used. The line segment information also may beuseful during a Pause situation if the quilter needsto scroll back to a specific line within the design toresume quilting from that point.Figure 7.1Figure 7.27.
