To set the TFTP Gateway IP address, perform the followingsteps:1. Use the arrow keys to highlight the TFTP Gateway IP Addr field.2. Enter the IP address of the TFTP gateway using the DDN format.For example: 134.141.80.1223. Press ENTER. If the TFTP Gateway IP address entered is a valid format, the cursor returnsto the beginning of the TFTP Gateway IP Address field. If the entry is not valid, the EventMessage Line displays “INVALID TFTP GATEWAY IP ADDRESS OR FORMATENTERED”. Local Management does not alter the current value, but it does refresh theTFTP Gateway IP Address field with the previous value.4. Use the arrow keys to highlight the SAVE command.5. Press ENTER. The Event Message Line at the top of the screen displays “SAVED OK”.2.12.4 Setting the Default GatewayIf the SNMP management station is located on a different IP subnet than the 9A656-04, adefault gateway must be specified. When an SNMP Trap is generated, the 9A656-04 sends theTrap to the default gateway. To set the default gateway, perform the following steps:1. Use the arrow keys to highlight the Default Gateway field.2. Enter the IP address of the default gateway using the DDN format.For example: 134.141.79.1213. Press ENTER. If the default gateway entered is a valid format, the cursor returns to thebeginning of the Default Gateway field. If the entry is not valid, the Event Message Linedisplays “INVALID DEFAULT GATEWAY OR FORMAT ENTERED”.
