Use the arrow keys to highlight the COM1 or COM2 field.2. Press the SPACE bar to toggle between ENABLED and DISABLED until the desiredmode displays.3. Use the arrow keys to highlight the SAVE command at the bottom of the screen.4. Press ENTER. The new settings are saved to memory.2.25.3 Changing the COM2 ApplicationTo change the COM2 port application, perform the following steps:1. Use the arrow keys to highlight the Application field, located to the right of the COM2field.2. Press the SPACE bar to step through the available options, (SLIP, PPP, UPS, LM)3. Use the arrow keys to highlight the SAVE command at the bottom of the screen.4. Press ENTER, the changes are saved to memory.!CAUTIONThe COM1 Port is reserved for Local Management. If you disable the COM1 Port,and the COM2 Port is not set up for Local Management, you will no longer be ableto manage this device via Local Management.NOTE If you select SLIP or PPP in the COM2 Application field, a Baud Rate field appearson the screen with a default value of 9600. The baud rates available are 2400, 4800,9600, and 19,200. Use the Space Bar to toggle to the desired baud rate.
