Turn Signal/Multifunction LeverThe lever on the left side of the steering columnincludes the following:• GTurn and Lane-Change Signals. See Windshield Washeron page 3-15.Turn and Lane-Change SignalsTo signal a turn, move the lever all the way up or down.The lever returns automatically when the turn iscomplete. If you momentarily press and release thelever, the turn signal will flash 3 times.An arrow on the instrumentpanel cluster and in theoutside rearview mirror willflash in the direction ofthe turn or lane change.Raise or lower the lever until the arrow starts to flashto signal a lane change. Hold it there until the lanechange is complete. The lever returns when it isreleased.If the turn signal is left on, a warning chime will soundand the Driver Information Center (DIC) will displayTURN SIGNAL ON after driving about a mile to remindyou to turn it off.
