Have your vehicle serviced byyour dealer/retailer.SERVICE THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEMThis message displays when there is a problem withthe theft-deterrent system programmed in the key.A fault has been detected in the system which meansthat the system is disabled and it is not protectingthe vehicle. The vehicle usually restarts; however, youmay want to take the vehicle to your dealer/retailerbefore turning off the engine. See PASS-Key® III+Operation on page 2-21 for more information.SERVICE TIRE MONITOR SYSTEMThis message displays if a part on the Tire PressureMonitor System (TPMS) is not working properly. The tirepressure light also flashes and then remains on duringthe same ignition cycle. See Tire Pressure Light onpage 3-62. Several conditions may cause this messageto appear. See Tire Pressure Monitor Operation onpage 5-62 for more information. If the warning comes onand stays on, there may be a problem with the TPMS.See your dealer/retailer.SERVICE TRACTION CONTROLThis message displays when there is a problem with theTraction Control System (TCS). When this message isdisplayed, the system will not limit wheel spin. Adjust yourdriving accordingly. Have your vehicle serviced byyour dealer/retailer as soon as possible.SET SPD (Speed)If your vehicle has Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), thismessage displays whenever the cruise control is set.First, the “CRUISE SET TO XXX MPH (km/h)” messageappears.
