56Maintaining the PrinterUsing the Battery Pack Replacing the Battery PackYou can replace the battery pack at any time. You may want to purchase and carry extrabattery packs for emergencies. However, remember that new battery packs must befully charged before you can use them. Before you travel, make sure new battery packsare fully charged.You must replace a battery pack after it is exhausted. The CHARGE/ERROR light will flashand the printer will beep six times when the battery pack becomes exhausted.
