Exposure Adjustment47Backlight CorrectionWhen you need to record a scene with constant backlight conditions, you can use backlight correctionto make the picture, especially the darker areas, brighter.This function cannot be used when the shooting mode is set to [T Fireworks].1 Select [ BLC Always On].[FUNC] > [ BLC Always On]2 Select [ On] and then select [X].• will appear at the left of the screen and the exposure will be adjusted to account for backlightconditions.• Alternatively, you can set an assignable button to [ BLC Always On] (A 85). In that case,press the assignable button to turn the backlight correction on and off.NOTES• This camcorder also has an automatic backlight correction feature with the > [v CameraSetup] > [Auto Backlight Correction] setting.• Backlight correction is not available during infrared mode.• Backlight correction will be deactivated in the following cases:- When the power switch, camera mode switch or INFRARED switch is operated.- When the shooting mode is changed.- When the frame rate is changed.
