Replacing the maintenance cartridgeWhen the maintenance cartridge detects that tank is full, the "Repl. Maint. C" error appears. In this case the maintenance cartridge must be replaced. The printer will not operate until the error is cancelled.Be careful that the waste ink does not splash when you remove the used maintenance cartridge from the printer.MEMO:This printer has an EEPROM in the maintenance cartridge and the maintenance cartridge status is controlled by the main controller PCB which reads and writesthe content of that EEPROM. Therefore, initializing the counter information will not be needed when the maintenance cartridge is replaced.5. Refilling the inkAfter removing the ink in the printer according to the automatic or manual ink draining procedure to disassemble, reassemble, or transport/ship the printer, refillthe ink as soon as possible upon completion of those tasks. If the ink remaining in the printer after the removal has dried up, the ink deposits on the surfaces of the components may cause damage or abnormal operation.[1][2]
