Service Procedures6H4866-02 59Linear Slide Assembly ReplacementTools RequiredAllen wrenchRemoving the Linear Slide Assembly[1] Using the user interface Diagnostic tab, move the Optical Head to the middle of the drum.[2] Remove the main cover (see “Removing the Service Panel and Scanner Cover” on Page 41).Connector to USB Board[3] Disconnect the flex cable from the USB Board.Laser Board Cable and Connectors[4] Disconnect the Laser Board flex cable from the Motion Board.[5] Release the two flex cables, until they can be taken out freely along with the Slide Assembly.
