6.14 - Web connectionThe Touch Pilot control can be accessed via a web browser(Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc.).Connection is from a PC using a web browser with Java.CAUTION: Use firewalls and VPN for secure connection.6.14.1 - Web interfaceTo access the control, provide the IP address of the unit in theaddress bar of the web browser.Legend1. This address can be changed.IMPORTANT: Only two web connections can be authorisedat the same time.6.14.2 - Web browser settingsMinimum web browser configuration:- Internet Explorer (version 8 or higher) or Mozilla Firefox(version 26 or higher). In the advanced connection optionsadd the unit IP address to the exceptions list. Do not use aproxy server.- Java platform (version 6 or higher). In the control panel, clearthe Keep temporary files on my computer check box and usea direct connection.IMPORTANT: Two users can be connected simultaneouslywith no priority between them.Note that the last modification is always taken into account.6.14.3 - Technical documentationWhen the Touch Pilot control is used via a pc web browser,the controller allows the user to access the technical documentationfor the product.■ Once you connect to the Touch Pilot control, click the Technicaldocumentation button in order to see a list of documents relatedto the unit.Technical documentation includes the following documents:- Spare parts documentation: The list of spare parts includedin the unit with reference, description and drafting.- Misc: Documents such as electrical plans, dimension plans,unit certificates.- PED: Pressure Equipment Directive.- IOM: Installation operation and maintenance manual, controlsinstallation/maintenance manual.■ Click the Help button to get access to BACnet user guide.(1) (2)6 - SETTING UP TOUCH PILOT CONTROL15
