Connecting headphones to thePHONES jack cuts off output to the speakers, whichmeans you can practice even late at night withoutbothering others. To protect your hearing, make surethat you do not set the volume level too high whenusing headphones.The back of the digital piano has two pedal jacks, onefor a damper pedal and one for a soft/sostenuto pedal.To connect to the pedal jackDepending on the type of operation you want thepedal (SP-3) to perform, connect the pedal’s cableeither to the digital piano’s DAMPER PEDAL jack orSOFT/SOSTENUTO PEDAL jack.
