Turn on the attached peripherals.iDRAC configurationThe Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) is designed to make system administrators moreproductive and improve the overall availability of Dell systems. iDRAC alerts administrators to systemissues, helps them perform remote system management, and reduces the need for physical access to thesystem.Setting up and configuring the iDRAC IP addressYou can set up the Integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) IP address by using one of thefollowing interfaces:• iDRAC Settings utility• Dell Lifecycle Controller• Dell OpenManage Deployment Toolkit• Server LCD panelYou can use the default iDRAC IP address 192.168.0.120 to configure the initial network settings,including setting up DHCP or a static IP for iDRAC.NOTE: To access iDRAC, ensure that you install the iDRAC port card or connect the network cableto the Ethernet connector 1 on the system board.You can configure iDRAC IP address by using the following interfaces:NOTE: Make sure that you change the default user name and password after setting up the iDRACIP address.• iDRAC web interface — For more information, see the Integrated Dell Remote Access ControllerUser's Guide.24
