It usesPoint-to-Point Protocol (PPP). NetExtender allows remote clients to have seamless access to resources on yourlocal network.Users can access NetExtender two ways: Using Net Extender on the Secure Mobile Access user portal, or byusing the NetExtender standalone client that is installed by clicking NetExtender in the Secure Mobile Accessweb-based management interface. The NetExtender standalone client application can be accessed directlyfrom the Windows Start menu, from the Application folder or dock on Mac systems, by path name or from theshortcut bar on Linux systems, and with the icon on Android smart phones.The SMA/SRA appliance supports client certificates in both the standalone Windows NetExtender client and theNetExtender Mobile client.On Windows systems, NetExtender supports establishing a VPN session before logging in to Windows.NetExtender supports IPv6 client connections from Windows systems running Vista or newer, and from Linuxclients.
