1 system board connector 2 M2 x 3-mm screws (2) 3 pull-tab4 modem 5 modem cableReplacing the Modem1. Connect the modem cable to the modem.NOTICE: Ensure that the modem cable is routed correctly when you replace the modem.2. Align the connector on the bottom of the modem with the modem connector on the system board, and press down onthe "PRESS HERE" label on the modem to connect it to the system board.3. Attach the modem to the system board with two M2 x 3-mm screws.4. Replace the frame (see Replacing the Frame).5. Replace the processor thermal-cooling assembly (see Replacing the Processor Thermal-Cooling Assembly).6. Replace the video card/thermal-cooling assembly (see Replacing the Video Card/Thermal-Cooling Assembly).7. Replace the system fans (see Replacing a System Fan).8. Replace the hard drive(s) (see Replacing a Hard Drive).9. Replace the top cover (see Replacing the Top Cover).10. Replace the cosmetic covers (see Replacing the Cosmetic Covers).NOTICE: To avoid damage to the keyboard, ensure that you attach the keyboard securely before moving thecomputer.11. Firmly attach the keyboard to the computer and close the display (see Closing the Display).12.
