26. Turn the computer over and open the display (see Opening the Display).27. Detach the keyboard by grasping the sides of the keyboard and pulling it straight out from the computer base.NOTICE: Before turning on the computer, ensure that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do somay result in damage to the computer.28. Turn on the computer.NOTE: If you use a BIOS update program CD to flash the BIOS, press before inserting the CD so that you canset up the computer to boot from a CD this one time only. Otherwise, you must enter the system setup program tochange the default boot order.29. Insert the flash BIOS update program CD that accompanied the replacement system board assembly into the opticaldrive. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen. See Flashing the BIOS for further information.NOTE: The Service Tag is located in the battery compartment.To update the BIOS on the new system board with the computer Service Tag, press during POST to enter thesystem setup program.
