This valve doesnot automatically adjust for inlet temperaturechanges, therefore, someone must make thenecessary Rotational Limit Stop adjustments atthe time of installation and further adjustmentsmay be necessary due to seasonal watertemperature change. YOU MUST inform theowner/user of this requirement by following theinstructions. If you or the owner/user are unsurehow to properly make these adjustments, pleaserefer to pages 9 and 15 and if still uncertain, callus at 1-800-345-DELTA.After installation and adjustment, you must affixyour name, company name and the date youadjusted the Rotational Limit Stop to the cautionlabel provided and apply or attach the label tothe back side of the closest cabinet door andthe warning label to the water heater. Leavethis Instruction Sheet for the owner’s/user’sreference.WARNING: This pressure balanced bathvalve is designed to minimize the effectsof outlet water temperature changes due toinlet pressure changes, commonly caused bydishwashers, washing machines, toilets andthe like. It may not provide protection from hotwater burns when there is a failure of othertemperature controlling devices elsewherein the plumbing system, if the rotational limitstop is not properly set or if the hot watertemperature is changed after the settingsare made or if the water inlet changes due toseasonal changes.WARNING: Do not install a shut-off device oneither outlet of this valve.
