If the average room temperaturereaches a range of 82° F (28° C) to 92°F (33° C), the hand-held remote controlwill perform a safety override and shutthe burner system off. This feature isnot available in the MANU mode.2. The receiver continuously receivessignals from the hand-held remoteto control the room temperature. Ifthe hand-held remote is misplaced,obstructed or for any reason cannottransmit to the receiver, the receiverwill shut off the burner system. Thiswill occur in 8 or more minutes depend-ing upon location of remote transmitterand strength of batteries.Key Pad Lock FeatureThis feature allows the user to lock/unlockthe keypad on the hand-held remote inthe MANU or AUTO mode to prevent inad-vertent operation (i.e. children operatingthe hand-held remote control, etc.). Thekeypad is locked in either on or off. The pilotwill remain lit.IMPORTANT: To turn the pilot off, turnthe control knob on the heater to the OFFposition.OPERATING OPTIONALBLOWER ACCESSORYBlower controls are located on the left sideof the rear cover when standing in front ofstove with burner system installed.The CDA3620TB thermostatically-con-trolled blower has an ON setting and anOFF setting. The blower will only run whenthe switch is in the ON position. In the OFFposition, the blower will not operate.If you are using CDA3620TB blower withoptional thermostat (wall mount or remotecontrol) for the burner system, your burnersystem and blower will not turn on and offat the same time. The burner system mayrun for several minutes before the blowerturns on. After the burner system modu-lates to the pilot position, the blower willcontinue to run. The blower will shut offafter the burner system firebox tempera-ture decreases.The blower helps distribute heated airfrom the stove. Periodically check the topgrates of the stove and remove any dust,dirt, or other obstructions that will hinderthe flow of air.insPectinG BurnersCheck pilot flame pattern and burner flamepatterns often.PILOT ASSEMBLYThe pilot assembly is factory preset for theproper flame height. Alterations may haveoccurred during shipping and handling. Calla qualified service person to readjust the pilotif necessary.The height of the thermopile must be 3/8" to1/2" above the pilot flame as shown in Figure50, page 27. The flame from the pilot burnermust extend beyond the thermopile.
