In anemergency, you can use this switch to control the UPS output. The REPO switchde‐energizes the critical load and powers down the UPSs immediately, without askingfor verification.The UPS, including Bypass, remains off until restarted.C A U T I O NAll power to the critical load is lost when the REPO switch is activated in the following step. You should usethis feature only when you want to de‐energize the critical load.NOTE The following instructions are for the Eaton-supplied REPO switch. If a customer-supplied REPOswitch is used, it may not activate in the same manner; refer to the operating instructions provided with theswitch.To use the REPO switch:1. Firmly push the red pushbutton until it locks into place. The switch latches intothe activated state (see Figure 7‐8).The input, output, and bypass backfeed contactors open, the battery breaker ordisconnect is tripped, and the power module is turned off immediately, withoutasking for verification on all UPSs.C A U T I O NDo not attempt to restart the system after the REPO until the cause of the shutdown has been identified andcleared.2. To deactivate the REPO switch in preparation for restarting the UPS, insert thesupplied key and rotate clockwise until the red pushbutton releases (seeFigure 7‐8). To remove the key, rotate the key back to the vertical position.3. Restart the UPSs by following the procedure in paragraph 7.4.1 on page 7-31 or7.4.8 on page 7-35.W A R N I N GPower is present inside the UPS cabinet until the upstream input feeder circuit breaker is opened.
