Tap the CONTROLS tab on the main menu navigation bar. The System Control screen is displayed.2. Tap the RUN BATTERY TEST button.6.3.10 Using the UPS SHUTDOWN CommandA UPS shutdown is initiated by the Shutdown command on the UPS Control screen. The UPS SHUTDOWNcontrols the UPS output by powering down the UPS and de-energizing the critical load.The UPS (including Bypass) remains off until restarted.To use the SHUTDOWN command:1. Tap the CONTROLS tab on the main menu navigation bar. The System Control screen is displayed.CAUTIONAll power to the critical load is lost when SHUTDOWN is selected in the following step. You shoulduse this feature only when you want to de-energize the critical load.2. Tap the SHUTDOWN button.An action confirmation screen is displayed. Follow the on screen prompts to shut down the UPS or tocancel or abort the shutdown. Selecting Shutdown will immediately shut down the UPS and de-energizethe critical load. Selecting Cancel will abort the shutdownCAUTIONDo not attempt to restart the system after Load Off until the cause of the shutdown has beenidentified and cleared.3. To restart the UPS after using the SHUTDOWN , follow the procedure in paragraph 6.3.1 or 6.3.2.WARNINGPower is present inside the UPS cabinet after the upstream input feeder circuit breakers areopened because of the installed internal batteries.NOTE 1 This UPS has a user initiated battery test intended to determine if thebatteries are able to support the load.NOTE 2 The battery test is only able to be initiated when the battery is fullycharged. This normally occurs within 72 hours of the start of a chargingcycle. The command will not be shown if the test is not able to be run.
