In an emergency, you can use thisswitch to control the UPS output. The REPO switch de-energizes the critical load and powers down the UPSimmediately, without asking for verification.The UPS, including Bypass, remains off until restarted.CAUTIONAll power to the critical load is lost when the REPO switch is activated in the following step. Youshould use this feature only when you want to de-energize the critical load.To use the REPO switch:1. Firmly push the red pushbutton until it locks into place. The switch latches into the activated state(see Figure 6-10).The rectifier, inverter, battery, and bypass switchgear open, and the power module is turned offimmediately, without asking for verification.CAUTIONDo not attempt to restart the system after the REPO until the cause of the shutdown has beenidentified and cleared.2. To deactivate the REPO switch in preparation for restarting the UPS, insert the supplied key and rotateclockwise until the red pushbutton releases (see Figure 6-10). To remove the key, rotate the key back tothe vertical position.3. Restart the UPS by following the procedure in paragraph 6.3.1 or 6.3.2.WARNINGPower is present inside the UPS cabinet after the upstream input feeder circuit breakers areopened because of the installed internal batteries.Figure 6-10.
