The equipment transferred to bypass utilitypower. Battery mode is not available; however,the utility power continues to be passivelyfiltered by the UPS. Check for one of thefollowing alarms: overtemperature, overload,UPS failure, hot swap, or remote emergencypower-off (REPO).Bypass UnavailableLED is flashing slowly.1 long beep every 5 seconds.Bypass is not available because thebypass input utility is outside theconfigured bypass range.Check the bypass utility. The UPS is receivingbypass utility power that may be unstable or inbrownout conditions. The UPS continues tosupply power to your equipment. Check for oneof the following alarms: bypass over or undervoltage, bypass over or under frequency, orbypass unavailable.Battery ConnectionLED is on.1 long beep every 5 seconds.The UPS does not recognize theinternal batteries.If the condition persists, contact your servicerepresentative.A battery tray is disconnected. Verify that all battery trays are fully seated andlocked in place. If the condition persists,contact your service representative.OverloadLED is on.1 long beep every 5 seconds.Power requirements exceed theUPS capacity (greater than 100% ofnominal; see page 92 for specificoutput overload ranges).Remove some of the equipment from the UPS.The UPS continues to operate, but may switchto Bypass mode if the load increases. The alarmresets when the condition becomes inactive.OvertemperatureLED is on.1 long beep every 5 seconds.The UPS internal temperature is toohigh or a fan has failed.Shut down the UPS. Clear vents and remove anyheat sources. Allow the UPS to cool. Ensure theairflow around the UPS is not restricted. Restartthe UPS. If the condition persists, contact yourservice representative.Site Wiring FaultLED is on.1 long beep every 5 seconds.Ground wire connection does notexist, or the line and neutral wiresare reversed in the wall outlet.Have a qualified electrician correct the wiring.Input is phase to phase (neutral isnot bonded to ground).Disable the Set Site (Wiring) Fault setting (seeUser Settings table on page 64).The UPS does not provide theexpected backup time.The batteries need charging orservice.Apply utility power for 48 hours to charge thebatteries. If the condition persists, contact yourservice representative.
