This service isoffered as part of the sales contract for the UPS. Contact service in advance (usually atwo-week notice is required) to reserve a preferred startup date.3.4 Completing the Installation ChecklistThe final step in installing the UPS system is completing the following Installation Checklist.This checklist ensures that you have completely installed all hardware, cables, and otherequipment. Complete all items listed on the checklist to ensure a smooth installation. Makea copy of the Installation Checklist before filling it out, and retain the original. If installing aparallel system, complete the Parallel System Installation Checklist in addition to theInstallation Checklist.After the installation is complete, your Eaton service representative must verify theoperation of the UPS system and commission it to support the critical load. The servicerepresentative cannot perform any installation tasks other than verifying software andoperating setup parameters. Service personnel may request a copy of the completedInstallation Checklist to verify all applicable equipment installations have been completed.NOTE The Installation Checklist MUST be completed prior to starting the UPS systemfor the first time.
