Commissioning11.3 Definitions of Access levelsIn accordance with BS 5839-9:2011 standard, VoCALL 16 product range providesfollowing access levels for appropriate usage of the system.1. Access level 1 – Members of public.outstations – Type A and Type B is readily available for usage by members ofgeneral public to initiate/ receive a call. No passwords/pin/key is requiredfor the usage.2. Access level 2 – Authorized access for person who is trained byinstaller/commissioner to operate the EVC system.MX Panel features allows restricting its usage by an authorized person. Key lockfacility is provided to restrict usage of handset. 4 digit PIN is required to access thesystem controls under – ‘uSEr’ profile. System can store up to 5 ‘uSEr’ profiles.default functionality available for ‘uSEr’ profile:a. Start and end a call – to give assistance to a member of the public.b. Perform following operations on panel:i. View Event Logii. View Fault Logiii. View Call Logiv. View Panel Informationv. Change Pinote:n ‘uSEr’ profile by default does not have permission to clear the faultson the system.Accepting fault by ‘uSEr’ would silence the buzzer for 8 hours. The buzzer wouldsound again after 8 hours in case the fault is not corrected. In case of detection ofnew fault on the system, buzzer would be active again.Call functionality has higher priority over all other functionalities. In case of call,audible fault indications would be non-active during the duration of call and would beactive once call is completed.
