21An oven light is not workingThe bulb has probably burnt out. You can buy areplacement bulb (which is not covered under thewarranty) from a good electrical shop. Ask for a 15 W –230 V lamp, FOR OVENS. It must be a special bulb, heatresistant to 300 °C (Fig.6-1).Turn off the power at the circuit breaker.Before removing the existing bulb, turn off the powersupply and make sure that the oven is cool. Open theoven door and remove the oven shelves.Unscrew the bulb cover by turning counter-clockwise. Itmay be very stiff (Fig.6-2).Taking care to protect your fingers with a glove in casethe bulb should shatter, unscrew the old bulb.Screw in the new bulb; screw back the bulb cover. Turnon the circuit breaker and check that the bulb nowlights.The oven door is misalignedThe bottom hinge of either oven door can be adjustedto alter the angle of the door (Fig.6-3).
