Support the door and loosen the2 screws securing the upper hinge and gasket to thecooker front (Fig.9-7).nn The door is heavy, so take care.Support the door and remove the screw nearest thehinge pin (Fig.9-8). Swing the hinge up and away fromthe door hinge pin. Lift the door away from the lowerhinge and remove.Reassemble in reverse order.6.3 To Adjust an Oven Door AngleThe bottom hinge of either oven door can be adjustedto alter the angle of the door (Fig.9-9). Loosen thebottom hinge fixing screws and use the notch and a flatbladed screwdriver to move the position of the hinge toset the hinge position (Fig.9-10).Retighten the hinge screws.6.4 To Replace an Oven Door Outer PanelMove the cooker forwards to gain access to the sides.Open the oven door slightly and remove the 4 frontpanel fixing screws from the door sides (2 each side),(Fig.9-11).Carefully lift off the outer door panel.Remove the door handle from the panel by unscrewingthe 2 retaining nuts.Fit the door handle to the new panel. Fit the panel tothe door. Reassemble in reverse order.6.5 To Change the Oven Door LatchRemove the oven outer door panel (see 6.3). Removescrews ‘B’, which hold the latch assembly to the innerdoor panel (Fig.9-12). Fit the new catch and reassemblein the reverse order.Check the door operation.6.6 To Adjust an Oven Door Catch KeepOpen the oven door, slacken off the locknut at thebase of the keep, and screw in or out as required untilthe required fit is obtained. Retighten the locking nut(Fig.9-13).6.7 To Change an Oven Door SealOpen the oven door. The seal is held in place by smallhooks on the rear face. At the corner, pull the sealdiagonally away from the door centre until that hookis released (Fig.9-14). Proceed to the next hook andrelease it in a similar way, and so on. Use force if thehooks are stiff, as the old seal will be discarded.When fitting the new seal, position the seal join at thebottom.
