After a Clean CycleYou may notice some white ash in theoven. Wipe it up with a damp cloth afterthe oven cools.If white spots remain, remove them with asoap-filled scouring pad and rinse thoroughlywith a vinegar and water mixture.These deposits are usually a salt residuethat cannot be removed by the cleancycle.If the oven is not clean after one cleancycle, repeat the cycle. You cannot set the oven for cookinguntil the oven is cool enough for thedoor to unlock. While the oven is self-cleaning, youcan touch the CLOCK pad to displaythe time of day. To return to the cleancountdown, touch the CLEAN pad. If the racks become hard to slide,apply a small amount of cooking oilto a paper towel and wipe the edges ofthe oven racks with the paper towel.The oven door must be closed and all controls must be set correctly for the cycle to work properly.How to Delay the Start of CleaningTouch the CLEAN pad once fora 4-hour clean time or twice for a3-hour clean time.A 3-hour self-clean time isrecommended for use whencleaning small, contained spills. Aself-clean time of 4 hours or longeris recommended for a dirtier oven.If a time other than 4 hours or3 hours is needed, use the numberpads and enter the desired cleantime.You can change the clean time to anytime between 3 hours and 5 hours,depending on how dirty your oven is.Touch the START TIME or DELAYSTART pad.Using the number pads, enter thetime of day you want the clean cycleto start.Touch the START pad.The door locks automatically. Thedisplay will show the start time.
