Grayporcelain-coated oven racks may remainin the oven during the self-cleaningcycle without being damaged. The shiny,silver-colored oven racks may remainin the oven during the self-cleaningcycle, but they will lose their luster andbecome hard to slide.It will be necessary to grease all ovenrack side edges with a light coating ofvegetable oil after cleaning them by handor in the oven.
