Section 4 — Measurement Types and their Uses108Save Multi-channel MeasurementsIf you wish to transfer your measurements to Ascent, be aware that theprogram identifies recordings by their location and date/time stamps. Iftwo or more recordings are taken at the same time and saved to thesame location, they will have identical date/time stamp and locationdetails. This will cause Ascent to delete one of your measurements. Toprevent this, we recommend you store your recordings in measurementlocations that reflect the direction the sensors were placed when themeasurement was taken.To save multi-channel measurements:1. Press when you are ready to stop measuring.2. Press Save — This opens the Select Location to Save menu.3. Press Save to on the right beside the channel you wish to save.4. Use the arrow keys to select an existing location to save themeasurement to, or press to create a new location.NOTE: You can save each channel's measurements or select onlythose you wish to keep.5. Press to return to the Select Locations menu.6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 to store your other measurement(s).TIP: To undo saving of a measurement, press the channel's Savekey again — The text will change to Don't Save.7. Press when you have selected all the measurements you wantto save — Your instrument will display Data Saved before returningto the measurement screen.
